The collection will be on display at the Wichita Art Museum November 13th through to January 12th, 2012.

Los Angeles - Singer Mary Wilson, who is best known as one of the original members of "The Supremes," is going on tour... performing songs of Lena Horne. Mary will be starring in a concert based on James Gavin's book "Stormy Weather: The Lena Horne Project," at the Musicians Institute Concert Center.

Mary Wilson is more than a pretty voice. The founding member of the ’60s and ’70s recording group The Supremes is also an author, cultural ambassador and humanitarian. Wilson was keynote speaker Thursday at a Women’s History Month celebration at Aberdeen Proving Ground organized by the Army Test and Evaluation Command.

Mary performed at the National Tchaikovsky Musical Academia Theater and opened the Mary Wilson Gown Collection at Ukrainsky Dim in Kyiv, Ukraine last week. The opening and subsequent concert was covered by the Ukrainian media. The gown collection will be on display at Ukrainsky Dim through the 14th of February.

Mary Wilson, legendary star of the Supremes, narrowly missed the Russian airport bombing on Monday. Mary and her group were arriving in Russia on Monday just as Domodedovo Airport was bombed by terrorists. Thirty five people were killed.

A founding member of "The Supremes", a Broadway conductor and stage actor tried to get the attention of broadcasters on the Las Vegas strip today. Mary toured the U.K., Australia and New Zealand with other Motown stars in celebration of Motown's 50th Anniversary. The New Zealand concert, which was held at the Mission Estate Winery, was titled "The Motown Event". The Motown stars performed to a crowd of 22,000.
